Shepherd Maple Syrup Festival
Want small town fun? Then you might want to head over to Shepherd, Michigan April 24-26 for the 51st annual Shepherd Maple Syrup Festival! Since August 1958, the Shepherd Chamber of Commerce has been promoting this event! At the very first one-day festival, they made 125 gallons of maple syrup to serve with a few hundred meals. Now the three-day festival provides up to 11,000 meals!!! There are also clowns, parades, arts and crafts, maple-syrup candy and more!
